Council Member Bergeson <br />adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-93 <br />RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT FOR THE GREENHA VEN PROPOSAL <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes will support a Tax Increment Financing subsidy for <br />Greenhaven Press, Inc.; <br />WHEREAS, Greenhaven Press, Inc. has selected a 2.1 acre site in the Apollo Business <br />Center which is within Tax Increment Financing District 1-4; <br />WHEREAS, the city will commit to actual and reasonable costs up to $80,000 in <br />financial assistance to Greenhaven Press, Inc. for approximately 16,400 square feet <br />of new construction, and up to an additional TIF subsidy of $30,000 should Phase II <br />(16,400 square feet) be built within three years; <br />WHEREAS, Greenhaven Press, Inc. will receive the financial assistance on a "pay as <br />you go" basis; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Council will support the Tax Increment and financial assistance for Greenhaven <br />Press, Inc. as outlined above. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 22nd day of November, 1993 <br />Vernon F. Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Elliott and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: Bergeson, Elliott, Neal, Reinert. <br />The following voted against same: None, Council Member Kuether was absent. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
