Council Member <br />Neal <br />moved its adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93 — 93 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF THE GRANT APPLICATION AND <br />EXECUTION OF THE GRANT AGREEMENT — FEDERAL POLICE HIRING SUPPLEMENT <br />PROGRAM <br />BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lino Lakes City Council authorizes <br />application to the United States Department of Justice for funds <br />under the Police Hiring Supplement Program. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Lino Lakes Police Chief is <br />authorized to act as the representative for the City of Lino Lakes <br />in applying for said funds. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes will proved <br />matching funds as is required under the grant program. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes will pay the <br />full cost of salary and benefits for officers hired under the <br />Police Hiring Supplemental Program at the end of the three (3) year <br />grant period. <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes <br />this 22nd day of November, 1993. <br />Vernon F. Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />lly <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member Elliott and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bergeson, Elliott, <br />Neal, Reinert. <br />The following voted against same: None, Council Member Kuether was absent. <br />Whereupon, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
