Council Member Elliott <br />moved its adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94 — 57 <br />RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS FOR THE HODGSON WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement <br />of the Hodgson Watermain Project, bids were received, <br />opened and tabulated according to law, and the following <br />bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />NAME AMOUNT OF BID <br />Eagle Pipeline Contractors $217,891.50 <br />Northdale Construction $241,100.85 <br />Lumbar Mechanical, Inc. $287,816.25 <br />Ro-So Contracting $331,853.00 <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 8, Section 8.03 of the Lino Lakes City Charter <br />requires that when bids are more than 10% over the City <br />Engineer's estimate, all bids are to be rejected and can <br />be rebid one more time, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. All above stated bids are rejected. <br />2. The City Engineer is directed to re -advertise for <br />bids. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 12th day of September, <br />1994. <br />Vernon F.
