Council Member Elliott introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94 - 69 <br />A RESOLUTION TERMINATING THE SERVICE ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ON <br />THE NORTH SIDE OF LAKE DRIVE, EAST SIDE OF SECOND AVENUE <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted on <br />March 14, 1994, a report has been prepared by SEH, Toltz, <br />King, Duvall and Associates with reference to the <br />improvement, and this report was received by the City <br />Council on April 11, 1994; and <br />WHEREAS, 51% of the affected property owners do not support the <br />improvement project as required by Chapter 8 of the Lino <br />Lakes City Charter, and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed funding of a portion of the improvement by <br />the Minnesota Department of Transportation has been <br />eliminated from the Lake Drive (CSAH 23)/Highway 49 <br />Improvement project; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES, <br />MINNESOTA: <br />The City Council hereby determines not to undertake the <br />improvement proposed in the Council resolution adopted on <br />March 14, 1994. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 12th day of September, <br />1994. <br />/57/ - <br />Vernon F. Reinert, Mayor <br />Marilyn G. Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member Bergeson and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bergeson, Elliott, <br />Neal. <br />The following voted against same: None, Council Member Kuether and <br />Mayor Reinert were absent. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
