Council Member Elliott introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94 - 88 <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE IMPROVEMENT, PREPARATION OF PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS AND THE SOLICITATION OF BIDS FOR LAKEVIEW <br />PLACE/LAMOTTE DRIVE DITCH CLEANING <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has resolved to proceed with the <br />cleaning, revegetation and installation of storm sewer in <br />a portion of the ditch that is located on the west side <br />of the St. Paul Water Works aqueduct and south of LaMotte <br />Circle and has directed that plans and specifications be <br />prepared therefor, and <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />it is desirable that the project be completed this fall <br />to prevent winter flooding in this area, and <br />the total cost of the improvement will be less than <br />$25,000.00, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES, <br />MINNESOTA: <br />1. <br />Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed as <br />outlined by Rocky Keehn, SEH at the City Council work <br />session of Wednesday, October 5, 1994. <br />2. Rocky Keehn, SEH is hereby designated as the engineer for <br />this improvement. He shall prepare plans and <br />specifications for the making of such improvement and <br />solicit quotations from a minimum of three (3) <br />contractors for the ditch cleaning and pipe installation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this llth day of October, <br />1994.
