Council Member Bergeson <br />adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-95 <br />RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF REAPPOINTMENT OF <br />ANDY CARDINAL TO RICE CREEK WATERSHED <br />DISTRICT MANAGER <br />WHEREAS, Andy Cardinal has served as a Rice Creek Watershed District Manager <br />representing Anoka County since January 18, 1972; and <br />WHEREAS, Cardinal has provided balanced representation during his tenure and <br />currently represents a rural/agricultural background and constituency in an otherwise <br />urbanizing Watershed District; and <br />WHEREAS, Cardinal has been responsive for the needs of Lino Lakes while <br />simultaneously observing environmental sensitivity; and <br />WHEREAS, Cardinal is a resident of Lino Lakes. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes <br />supports the reappointment of Andy Cardinal as a Rice Creek Watershed District <br />Manager. <br />PASSED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14th day of <br />November, 1994. <br />ATTEST: <br />Marilyn Anderson, City Clerk <br />Vernon Reinert, Mayor <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded bay <br />Council Member Kuether and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: Bergeson, Kuether, Reinert. <br />The following voted against same: Elliott. Council Member Neal was absent. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
