Council Member Elliott introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95 — 02 <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE CIRCLE—LEX VFW, POST NO. <br />6583 AND AMENDING THE DEDICATED PARKS FUND <br />WHEREAS: the Lino Lakes City Council has established the Dedicated <br />Parks Fund to receive all donations from developers and <br />other interested citizens and organizations, and <br />WHEREAS: the Dedicated Parks Fund is used to fund major park <br />development and park land acquisition, and <br />WHEREAS: the Circle -Lex VFW, Post No. 6583 has donated $3,300.00 <br />throughout 1994 to be used for park development, and <br />WHEREAS: the monies will be appropriated to the Dedicated Park <br />Fund in the following manner: <br />Increase Revenue - Contributions $3,300.00 <br />Increase Expenditures: <br />Dedicated Park Fund $3,300.00 <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of <br />Lino Lakes hereby accepts the donation of $3,300.00 for the <br />Dedicated Parks Fund and wishes to express its sincere gratitude <br />and appreciation to the Circle -Lex VFW, Post #6583 for its <br />donation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 9th day of January, <br />1995. <br />Vernon F. Reinert, Mayor <br />MarilyrfG."Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member Bergeson and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bergeson, Elliott, <br />Kuether, Neal, Reinert. <br />The following voted against same: None. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
