Sue's Excavating Route 1, Box 151 Isle, Minnesota 56342 $340,670.24 Engineer's Estimate $209,292.20 AND WHEREAS, it appears that Bonine Excavating, Elk River, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder, AND WHEREAS, through negotiation with the lowest responsible bidder the low bid amount has been reduced to $230,200.50, which would conform to City Charter requirements, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Bonine Excavating of Elk River, Minnesota, in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for Hodgson Road Trunk Watermain Improvements, according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
