Council Member Elliott introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION N. 95 — 60 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE CIRCLE—LEX LADIES AUXILIARY <br />VFW POST NO. 6583 <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Department had a need for Crime <br />Prevention/Safety materials and supplies; and <br />WHEREAS, the needed items will enhance the Lino Lakes Crime <br />Prevention efforts for 1995; and <br />WHEREAS, the Circle -Lex Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #6583 was made <br />aware of the need for the materials and supplies and has <br />donated $1,500.00 to the City for the purchase of the <br />materials; and <br />WHEREAS, the monies will be appropriated to the General Fund in <br />the following manner: <br />Increase Revenue - Contributions $1„500.00 <br />Increase Crime Prevention Expenditures $1,500.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Lino Lakes hereby <br />accepts the donation of $1,500.00 toward the cost of the Crime <br />Prevention materials and supplies and wishes to express its <br />gratitude to the Circle -Lex Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #6583 for its <br />donation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 12th day of June, 1995. <br />Vernon F. Reinert, Mayor <br />1'71; <br />Marilyn <br />Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member Neal and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bergeson, Elliott, <br />Neal, Reinert. <br />The following voted against same: None, Council Member Kuether was absent. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
