Council Member Bergeson introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95 - 74 <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION <br />OF REPORT, CENTENNIAL SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 12 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. A certain petition dated May 31, 1995, requesting a <br />report studying the roadway, utility service and traffic impact for <br />construction of a new school facility on Elm Street, is hereby <br />declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of <br />property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformity <br />to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.035 and Chapter 8 of the Lino <br />Lakes City Charter. <br />2. The petition is hereby referred to David Mitchell, OSM, <br />and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient <br />speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the <br />proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best <br />be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, <br />and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 12th day of June, 1995. <br />Vernon F. Reinert, Mayor <br />Marileyn G Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member Bergeson and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bergeson, Elliott, <br />Neal, Reinert. <br />The following voted against same: None, Council Member Kuether was <br />absent. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
