Council Member Kuether <br />moved its adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95 — 78 <br />RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS FOR THE BLACK DUCK LIFT STATION AND <br />AUTHORIZING RE—ADVERTISEMENTS FOR BIDS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement <br />of the Black Duck Lift Station, bids were received, <br />opened and tabulated according to law, and the following <br />bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />NAME AMOUNT OF BID <br />Ford Corporation <br />P. 0. Box 667 <br />Excelsior, Minnesota 55331 <br />Municipal Builders <br />17125 Roanoke Street, N.W. <br />Anoka, Minnesota 55304 <br />$255,890.00 <br />$274,653.00 <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 8, Section 8.03 of the Lino Lakes City Charter <br />requires that when bids are more than 10% over the City <br />Engineer's estimate, all bids are to be rejected and can <br />be rebid one more time, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. All above stated bids are rejected. <br />2. The City Engineer is directed to re -advertise for <br />bids. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 10th day July, 1995. <br />Vernon F. Reinert, Mayor <br />G. Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member Bergeson and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bergeson, Kuether, Neal. <br />The following voted against same: None, Mayor Reinert and Council Member <br />Elliott were absent. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
