Council Member <br />Bergeson introduced the following resolution and <br />moved is adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95 — 82 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE CIRCLE—LEX LIONS CLUB <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />the Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department is <br />involved with the National Youth Sports Coaches <br />Association to educate coaches to promote youth <br />sportsmanship and better youth, and <br />the Circle -Lex Lions Club was made aware of the need to <br />subsides the registration cost for each coach, <br />the monies will be appropriated to the General Fund in <br />the following manner: <br />Increase Revenue - Contributions $2,500.00 <br />Increase Tuition Expenditures $2,500.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes hereby <br />accepts the donation of $2,500.00 toward the cost of registration <br />and wishes to express its gratitude to the Circle -Lex Lions Club <br />for its donation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 10th day of July, 1995. <br />Vernon F. Reinert, Mayor <br />G. Maki y Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member Kuether and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bergeson, Kuether, Neal. <br />The following voted against same: None, Mayor Reinert and Council Member <br />Elliott were absent. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
