Council Member Kuether <br />moved its adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95 - 85 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF WELL NO. 4 <br />(CLEARWATER CREEK SUBDIVISION) <br />WHEREAS, Pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the <br />construction of Well No. 4, bids were received, opened <br />and tabulated according to law, and the following bids <br />were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Name and Address Amount of Bid <br />Keys Well Drilling Company <br />413 North Lexington Parkway <br />St. Paul, Minnesota <br />E. H. Renner & Sons, Inc. <br />15688 Jarvis Street N.W. <br />Elk River, Minnesota <br />Bergerson-Caswell, Inc. <br />5115 Industrial Street <br />Maple Plain, Minnesota <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that Keys Well Drilling Company, St. Paul, <br />Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder, <br />$82,160.00 <br />$87,100.00 <br />$89,090.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to <br />enter into the a contract with Keys Well Drilling Company <br />of St. Paul, Minnesota, in the name of the City of Lino <br />Lakes for construction of Well No. 4, according to the <br />plans and specifications therefore approved by the City <br />Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with <br />their bids, except that the deposits of the successful <br />bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until <br />a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 24th of July, 1995. <br />Vernon F.
