Council Member Elliott <br />adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95 - 87 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR THE LAKE DRIVE (CSAH NO. <br />23)/HODGSON ROAD (HIGHWAY 49) IMPROVEMENT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of Lake Drive <br />(CSAH No. 23)/Hodgson Road (Highway 49) intersection, bids were <br />received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids <br />were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Name and Address Amount of Bid <br />Forest Lake Contracting $1,295,564.52 <br />14777 Lake Drive <br />Forest Lake, Minnesota 55025 <br />Hardrives, Inc. $1,592,174.92 <br />9724 - 10th Avenue North <br />Plymouth, Minnesota 55441 <br />Midwest Asphalt Corporation $1,466,770.03 <br />P. Box 5477 <br />Hopkins, Minnesota 55343 <br />Valley Paving Incorporated $1,632,581.40 <br />8800 - 13th Avenue East <br />Shakopee, Minnesota 55379 <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that Forest Lake Contracting, 1477 Lake Drive, Forest <br />Lake, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />with Forest Lake Contracting, 14777 Lake Drive, Forest Lake, Minnesota, in the <br />name of the City of Lino Lakes for construction of the Lake Drive (CSAH No. <br />23)/Hodgson Road (Highway 49) intersection improvement, according to the <br />plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the <br />office of the City Clerk. <br />
