Council Member Elliott <br />adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95 - 90 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE CENTENNIAL YOUTH <br />HOCKEY ASSOCIATION FOR USE IN CONSTRUCTING HOCKEY RINK IN <br />THE CITY HALL PARK <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes City Council has established the Dedicated Parks Fund to <br />receive all donations from developers and other interested citizens and <br />organizations, and <br />WHEREAS, the Dedicated Parks Fund is used to fund major park development and park <br />land acquisition, and <br />WHEREAS, the Centennial Youth Hockey Association has donated $1,500.00 to be <br />used for the construction of a hockey rink in the City Hall park, and <br />WHEREAS, the monies will be appropriated to the Dedicated Park Fund in the <br />following manner: <br />Increase Revenue, Dedicated Park Fund $1,500.00 <br />Increase Expenditures: <br />Dedicated Park Fund $1,500.00 <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lino <br />Lakes hereby accepts the donation of $1,500.00 for the Dedicated Parks Fund and wishes <br />to express its sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Centennial Youth Hockey <br />Association for its donation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 14th day of August, 1995. <br />Vernon F.
