Council Member Kuether introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />City of Lino Lakes <br />Resolution No.95-93 <br />Resolution Authorizing the Designation of Employee Pretax Forfiets <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has available medical and day care pretax spending <br />accounts for eligible employees to participate in, and <br />WHEREAS, Federal Law states that any funds remaining in an employees account after <br />the payment of eligible expenses incurred during a plan year will be forfeited, and <br />WHEREAS, the plan states that any forfeitures will be used in the manner determined by <br />the City Council. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that an account be set up in the Escrow Fund to <br />accumulate all employee forfeitures from the medical and day care pretax accounts. The monies <br />will be used to help finance employee related activities such as the annual picnic, the Christmas <br />party or any other employee related activity that may need financing. <br />Adopted by the City Council of Lino Lakes this 14th day of August, 1995. <br />A, � /1/11371, <br />Marilyn G. <br />derson - Clerk Treasurer <br />Vernon F.
