Council Member Elliott introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95 — 130 <br />RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF ESTABLISHING A COUNTY CURFEW <br />ORDINANCE IN CONFORMANCE WITH OTHER <br />METROPOLITAN COUNTIES <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />the City of Lino Lakes finds that juvenile violence and <br />crimes committed by juveniles are of great concern; and <br />the City of Lino Lakes finds that juveniles are <br />susceptible by their lack of maturity and experience to <br />participate in unlawful activities and to be victims of <br />older perpetrators of crime; and <br />WHEREAS, the County Board will be considering a curfew ordinance <br />that will conform to others in the metropolitan area; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes supports the policy of uniform <br />curfews for juveniles in the metropolitan area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lino Lakes City Council <br />endorses the concept of a uniform juvenile curfew in the <br />metropolitan area and urges the Anoka County Board to adopt a <br />conforming juvenile curfew ordinance. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 25th day of <br />September, 1995. <br />Vernon F.
