Council Member Bergeson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-151 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF A <br />BACKHOE <br />WHEREAS: pursuant to an advertisement for bids for a backhoe, bids were received, <br />opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were <br />received complying with the advertisement: <br />NAME & ADDRESS AMOUNT OF BID <br />Midwest Machinery, Inc. <br />St. Joseph Equipment Co. <br />$47,293.46 <br />$64,190.80 <br />AND WHEREAS: it appears that Midwest Machinery, Inc. is the lowest responsible <br />bidder capable of providing the backhoe and responsive to the request for bids, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />Hereby authorize the purchase of a backhoe from Midwest Machinery, Inc., in the <br />amount of $47,293.46. <br />Adopted by the City of Lino Lakes City Council this 27th day of November, 1995. <br />if)( <br />Mari. n G.'xlnderson, Clerk - Treasurer <br />Vernon F. Reinert, Mayor <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Elliott and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: Bergeson, Elliott, Neal, Reinert. <br />The following voted against same:None, Council Member Kuether was absent. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed. <br />
