Council Member Kuether <br />and moved its adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-156 <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />FLEXIBLE HEALTH CARE AND DEPENDENT DAY CARE PLAN. <br />WHEREAS, the plan was adopted per Resolution No. 78-90 with the effective date of <br />January 1, 1991, and <br />WHEREAS, the plan needs to be updated to include law changes such as Family <br />Medical Leave and Military Leave, and <br />WHEREAS, a section is added to include cash compensation or City contribution to a <br />deferred compensation plan in lieu of single health insurance coverage, and <br />WHEREAS, the deferred compensation contribution is equal to the higher single rate of <br />the current health insurance available, and <br />WHEREAS, the cash contribution is equal to the higher single rate of the current health <br />-- insurance available less Social Security, Medicare and P.E.R.A. contributions, and <br />WHEREAS, the effective date of this amendment is January 1, 1996. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Lino Lakes that the City <br />Flexible Health Care and Day Care Plan be amended to reflect these changes effective <br />January 1, 1996. <br />Adopted by the city Council of Lino Lakes this 13th day of November, 1995. <br />Vernon F. Anderson - Clerk Treasurer <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Bergeson <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bergeson, <br />Elliott, Kuether, Neal, Reinert. <br />The following voted against same: None. <br />Where upon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
