Council Member Neal introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95 -197 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORING THE SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION OF <br />POLICE OFFICER KENNETH BRUCE KELLER <br />WHEREAS, Officer Keller has violated Police Department policies and procedures, <br />City Code and terms of his employment agreement based on findings of <br />his supervisors, and <br />WHEREAS, Officer Keller has previously violated Police Department and City policy <br />and was reprimanded for those violations, and <br />WHEREAS, Officer Keller has been advised that the City Council is considering action <br />to place him on suspension for five (5) days and then terminate his <br />employment, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council authorizes the City <br />Administrator to immediately suspend Officer Keller on December 19, 1995, without pay <br />for five (5) days and then terminate the employment of Officer Keller on December 23, <br />1995 after the five (5) day suspension has been completed. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 18th day of December, 1995. <br />Vernon F. Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Bergeson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: Bergeson, Elliott, Kuether, Neal, Reinert. <br />The following voted against same: none. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
