Council Member Kuether introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-35 <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING A SPEED STUDY ON TRUNK HIGHWAY 49 (LAKE <br />DRIVE) FROM CIVIC HEIGHTS CIRCLE TO MAIN STREET (CSAH 14). <br />WHEREAS, proposed and existing developments adjacent to Lake Drive have <br />increased traffic volumes, and; <br />WHEREAS, Centennial School District is proposing a middle school near Lake Drive, <br />and; <br />WHEREAS, these proposed developments will create additional pedestrian and bicycle <br />traffic along Lake Drive to these developments, and; <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes is concerned about the high speed of traffic on <br />Lake Drive. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The City of Lino Lakes requests that a speed study on Lake Drive from Civic <br />Heights Circle in the City of Circle Pines to Main Street (CSAH 14) be completed. <br />Adopted by the City Council this 25th day of Larch, 1996. <br />nL. Anderson <br />Clerk -Treasurer <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Bergeson and upon vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Bergeson, Kuether, Lyden, Neal, Landers. <br />The following voted against same: None. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted. <br />CERTIFICATION <br />I hereby certify that the above is a correct.copy of a resolution duly passed, adopted <br />and approved by the City Council on /;?-5 , 1996. <br />Marilyn`6.
