Council Member <br />Neal <br />moved its adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-56 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING A CITY WIDE DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY <br />WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes has pledged to create a drug and alcohol free working <br />environment for its' employees, and <br />WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes has a responsibility to ensure the health and safety of its' <br />citizens, employees, and property, and <br />WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes needs a policy that lays out policies and procedures <br />designed to clearly defines rights and responsibilities, and <br />WHEREAS, The attached policy has been drafted to balance the employee's rights against <br />the rights of co-workers and the community, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA, that the attached Drug and Alcohol Policy be adopted. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 10th day of June, 1996. <br />Marilyn <br />. Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />L. Landers, Mayor <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member <br />Lyden and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: Bergeson, Kuether, Lyden, Neal, Landers. <br />The following voted against the same: None. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
