Council Member Kuether introduced the following resolution and moved <br />`-- its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION 96-80 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING A HARASSMENT POLICY <br />WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes is committed to creating a work environment that is <br />free of harassment of any kind, and <br />WHEREAS, Employees must be free to exercise their duties without fear of verbal or <br />physical intimidation or duress, and <br />WHEREAS, Both Title 7 of the Federal Civil Rights Act of 1964, and Chapter 363 of <br />Minnesota State Statute prohibits harassment in the work place, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota, that: <br />1. That the attached policy on Harassment be adopted. <br />Adopted by the City Council on this 22 day of July, 1996. <br />Mari yn G. Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />L. Landers, Mayor <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member <br />Bergeson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Bergeson, Kuether, Neal, Landers. <br />The following voted against same: None, Council Member Lyden was absent. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted. <br />CERTIFICATION <br />
