Council Member Neal introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96 - 86 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE DEAD BROKE SADDLE CLUB FOR <br />THE BICYCLE PATROL PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, special uniforms and equipment are needed for a bicycle <br />patrol program; and <br />WHEREAS, funding for these expenses were not included in the <br />Police Department budget; and <br />WHEREAS, the Dead Broke Saddle Club has made a donation in the <br />amount of $1000.00 to the City of Lino Lakes for the <br />cost of uniforms and needed equipment to initiate the <br />Bicycle Patrol program; and <br />WHEREAS, the monies will be appropriated to the General Fund in <br />the following manner: <br />Increase Revenue - Contributions <br />Increase Expenditures -Police <br />Uniforms <br />$1000.00 <br />$1000.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes <br />hereby accepts the donation of $1000.00 for the cost of uniforms <br />and equipment and wishes to express its gratitude to the Dead <br />Broke Saddle Club for its donation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 12th day of August, <br />1996. <br />&Axe - <br />1 <br />Marilyn Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />J'hn Landers, Mayor <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member Lyden and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bergeson, Kuether, <br />Neal, Lyden, Landers. <br />The following voted against same: none. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
