Council Member Neal introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96 - 120 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE CIRCLE -LEX LADIES <br />AUXILIARY VFW POST #6583 FOR RESERVE PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, equipment is needed for the Lino Lakes Police Reserve <br />program, <br />WHEREAS, funding for this equipment was not included as a Police <br />Department budget item, <br />WHEREAS, the Circle -Lex Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #6583 has made <br />a donation in the amount of $500.00 to the City of Lino <br />Lakes toward the purchase of this needed equipment; and <br />WHEREAS, the monies will be appropriated to the General Fund in <br />the following manner: <br />Increase Revenue - Contributions <br />Increase Expenditures -Police <br />Uniforms <br />$500.00 <br />$500.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes <br />hereby accepts the donation of $500.00 toward the cost of <br />equipment for the Reserve program and wishes to express its <br />gratitude to the Circle -Lex Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #6583 for <br />its donation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 9 h day of September, <br />1996. <br />Marlyn"G. Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />Landers, Mayor <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member Lyden and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bergeson, <br />Kuether, Lyden, Neal, Landers. <br />The following voted against same: None. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
