Council Member Bergeson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 71 <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE FRIENDS OF THE <br />PARKS FOUNDATION <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Department has established a reserve officer <br />program, and <br />WHEREAS, <br />the Lino Lakes Police Department has made known to the Friends <br />of the Parks Foundation that funding for this program will come <br />from public donations, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lino <br />Lakes hereby accepts the donation of $200.00 for use in supporting the Police <br />Department reserve officer Program and wishes to express its sincere gratitude and <br />appreciation to the Friends of the Parks Foundation for its donation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 27th day of May, 1997. <br />G V'' <br />Jo L. Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />aril n <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Lyden and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: Bergeson, Kuether, Lyden, Landers. <br />The following voted against same: None, Council Member Neal was absent. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
