Council Member Bergeson introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-75 <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON <br />IMPROVEMENT. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the council adopted June 9, 1997, a report <br />has been prepared by SEH, Inc., with reference to the <br />improvement of Lilac Street between Apollo Drive and Lake Drive <br />and Lake Drive from 35W to Main Street by constructing watermain <br />and sanitary sewer and this report was received by the council on <br />June 9, 1997, and <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed <br />project is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance <br />with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion <br />of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter <br />429 and the Section 8 of the Lino Lakes City Charter at an estimated cost <br />of the improvement of $1,900,000. <br />2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 28th <br />day of July, 1997, in the council chambers of the city hall at 6:30 p.m. and <br />the clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and <br />improvement as required by law. <br />Adopted by the City Council this 9th day of June, 1997. <br />n Landers, Mayor <br />Marilynyn G.
