Council Member Neal <br />its adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and moved <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 78 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO SIGN <br />JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT to PROTECT AND MANAGE THE VADNAIS LAKE <br />AREA WATERSHED <br />WHEREAS, the Vadnais Lake Area Water Management Organization is required to <br />amend the current Joint Powers Agreement to make it comply with Minnesota State <br />Statutes 8410.0030, <br />AND WHEREAS, the Vadnais Lake Area Water Management Organization is in part <br />within the corporate boundaries of the City of Lino Lakes; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to sign the Joint <br />Powers Agreement to Protect and Manage the Vadnais Lake Area Watershed. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 23rd day of June, 1997. <br />7), 04, 411 - <br />Marilyn G. Landers, Mayor <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Lyden and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: Bergeson, Kuether, Lyden, Neal, Landers. <br />The following voted against same: none. <br />Whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted. <br />
