Council Member Bergeson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 81 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION <br />CONTRACT - THE VILLAGE, PHASE ONE, BLOCK 1, LOTS 1 & 2, STREET AND <br />STORM SEWER CONSTRUCTION. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the Village, <br />Phase One, Block 1, Lots 1 & 2, Street and Storm Sewer Construction, bids were <br />received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received <br />complying with the advertisement: <br />Company Bid Amount <br />Ryan Contracting $153,893.45 <br />Central Landscaping $163,495.15 <br />Jay Brothers $168,926.71 <br />Rehbein Excavating $174,493.80 <br />Perkins Contracting $179,74900 <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that Ryan Contracting, Inc. is the lowest responsible <br />bidder; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />with Ryan Contracting, Inc., 8700 13th Avenue East, Shakopee, Minnesota 55379, <br />in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the Village, Phase <br />One, Block 1, Lots 1 & 2, Street and Storm Sewer according to the plans and <br />specifications approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk. <br />
