Council Member Kuether <br />moved its adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-84 <br />RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF THE LAURENE STREET <br />RIGHT-OF-WAY <br />WHEREAS, the property owner has requested that a 17' x 100' portion of <br />Laurene Street as shown on the attached map be vacated, and <br />WHEREAS, the portion of Laurene Street indicated on the map has been <br />reviewed by the City Engineer/Public Works Director and no adverse future <br />problems were noted, and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on July 28, 1997 before the City Council <br />in the City Hall after due published and posted notice had been given by the <br />Clerk on July 15 and July 22 and all persons interested were given an <br />opportunity to be heard; and, <br />WHEREAS, it appears that it will be for the best interest of the City to vacate <br />such portion of Laurene Street, and <br />WHEREAS, four fifths of all the members of the Council concur in this resolution, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a 17' x 100' portion of Laurene <br />Street adjacent to the south/west corner of Lot 3, Block 2, Arthur E. Thom <br />Addition as shown on the attached map is hereby vacated. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 28th day of July, 1997. <br />ATTEST: <br />n L.
