Council Member Kuether introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-92 <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENTS - <br />LILAC STREET TRUNK UTILITY EXTENSION PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Lilac Street from the westerly edge of Behm's 2nd <br />Addition to Laurie Avenue and Laurie Avenue from Lilac Street to Thomas Avenue and Thomas <br />Avenue from Laurie Avenue to unnamed street and an unnamed street north of Thomas Avenue <br />by constructing sanitary sewer and water supply systems and to assess the benefited property for <br />all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, and <br />the Lino Lakes Charter, Chapter 8, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />That the proposed improvement be referred to the City Engineer, or his assigns, for study <br />and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the <br />Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as <br />to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other <br />improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this llth day of August, 1997. <br />Mari yn G. derson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />L.
