Member Lyden introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-95 <br />RESOLUTION CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MODIFIED PROGRAM FOR <br />DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 AND THE PLANS FOR TAX INCREMENT <br />FINANCING DISTRICT NOS. 1-1 AND 1-2 <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Economic Development Authority (the "EDA") <br />intends to modify the program for Development District No. 1 (the "District") and the <br />Tax Increment Financing Plans for Tax Increment Financing District Nos. 1-1 and 1-2 <br />("TIF District Nos. 1-1 and 1-2"); and <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, sections 469.174 through 469.179 (the "TIF <br />Act") and sections 469.124 through 469.134 (the "City Development District Act") <br />requires that the city council of the city of Lino Lakes (the "City") hold a public <br />hearing on the modified program for the District and modified plans for TIF District <br />Nos. 1-1 and 1-2, following approval thereof by the EDA. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, <br />Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The city clerk -treasurer is authorized and directed to prepare a notice for <br />publication in the official newspaper setting a public hearing before the city <br />council to consider this matter on Monday, October 13, 1997 at 6:30 p.m. in <br />the council chambers at city hall. The notice shall be published in the <br />newspaper at least 10 but not more than 30 days prior to the public hearing. <br />2. The city clerk -treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to notify Independent <br />School District No. 12 and Anoka County at least 30 days prior to the public <br />
