Council Member <br />adoption: <br />Kuether <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-145 <br />RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS - LILAC STREET UTILITY EXTENSION <br />PROJECT. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the Lilac Street Utility <br />Extension Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following <br />bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Name Bid Amount <br />Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. <br />Penn Contracting, Inc. <br />Redstone Construction Co., Inc. <br />$218,090.30 <br />$224,901.00 <br />$245,726.83 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. All bids are hereby rejected. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the <br />deposits made with their bids. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 27th y of October, 1997. <br />Jo IYn L. Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member <br />Bergeson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Bergeson, Kuether, Lyden, Neal, Landers. <br />The following voted against same: None. <br />Whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted. <br />
