Council Member Kuether introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-147 <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING FOR LAKE <br />DRIVE TRUNK UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS FROM 79TH STREET TO MAIN <br />STREET AND MAIN STREET FROM LAKE DRIVE TO LINO LAKES <br />ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the council adopted October 13, 1997, a <br />report has been prepared by SEH, Inc., with reference to the <br />improvement of Lake Drive from 79th Street to Main Street and <br />along Main Street from Lake Drive to Lino Lakes Elementary <br />School by constructing watermain and sanitary sewer and this <br />report was received by the council on October 13, 1997, and <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed <br />project is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance <br />with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion <br />of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter <br />429 and the Section 8 of the Lino Lakes City Charter at an estimated cost <br />of the improvement of $836,500. <br />2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 24th <br />day of November, 1997, in the council chambers of the city hall at 6:30 <br />p.m. and the clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing <br />and improvement as required by law. <br />Adopted by the City Council this 13th day of O. ober, 1997. <br />12(' �k _�tY 2 C 2 , <br />Marilyn G.
