Council Member Bergeson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-160 <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT FOR 21ST STREET ROAD <br />AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, a certain petition has been submitted to improve 21' Street by constructing <br />watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and street. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of 21' Street between Cedar <br />Street and Main Street by constructing watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer <br />and street, filed with the Council on November 24, 1997, is hereby declared to be <br />signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This <br />declaration is made in conformity to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429,035 and <br />the Lino Lakes City Charter. <br />2. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer for study and that he is <br />instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council <br />in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, <br />cost-effective, and feasible and as to whether it should best be made as <br />proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost <br />of the improvement as recommended. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 10th ` of November, 1997. <br />ay, IL /IA 7)/V <br />Matilyn G.''Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />n L.
