Council Member Neal introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 53 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING WETLAND BANKING CREDIT PURCHASE <br />AGREEMENT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes is responsible for replacing wetlands impacted by the <br />Highway 49 and Highway 23 Intersection Project, <br />AND WHEREAS, the Wetland Conservation Act sets certain rules related impacts to <br />wetlands, <br />AND WHEREAS, the regulatory unit responsible for administering the Wetland <br />Conservation Act is the Rice Creek Watershed District, <br />AND WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes intends to purchase wetland banking credits to <br />fulfill its responsibility to replace impacted wetlands from the Highway 49 and Highway <br />23 Intersection Project; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Mr. Bob Walls for the purchase of wetland banking credits. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council thi 13t',' day of Apr 1998. <br />4.Luti <br />Marilyn G. Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />ullivan, Mayor <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Bergeson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: Bergeson, Dahl, Lyden, Neal, Sullivan. <br />The following voted against same: none. <br />Whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted. <br />
