Council Member Bergeson <br />�-- adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-83 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION <br />CONTRACT - WEST SHADOW LAKE DRIVE CULVERT REPLACEMENT <br />PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the West <br />Shadow Lake Drive Culvert Replacement Project, bids were received, opened and <br />tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the <br />advertisement: <br />Name <br />Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. <br />CCS Contracting <br />S. R. Weidema <br />F. F Jedlicki <br />Ro-So Contracting <br />Bid Amount <br />$28,297.00 <br />$32,154.50 <br />$36,892.85 <br />$39,101.00 <br />$39,440.00 <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that Forest Lake Contracting, Inc., is the lowest responsible <br />bidder; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with <br />Forest Lake Contracting, Inc., 14777 Lake Drive, Forest Lake MN 55025, in the name <br />of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the West Shadow Lake Drive <br />Culvert Replacement Project according to the plans and specifications approved by <br />the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the <br />deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the <br />next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />
