Council Member Dahl introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 94 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE CIRCLE -LEX VFW <br />POST #6583 <br />WHEREAS, the VFW Post #6583 was made aware of a needy family who wanted to <br />purchase bicycles for their children; and <br />WHEREAS, the Circle -Lex VFW Post #6583 donated $300.00 to the City of Lino <br />Lakes for the purpose of purchasing the bicycles; <br />WHEREAS, the money will be appropriated to the General Fund in the following <br />manner: <br />Increase Revenue - Contributions <br />Increase Expenditures <br />Bicycles for Needed Family <br />$300.00 <br />$300.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes hereby accepts <br />the donation of $300.00 to cover the cost of three (3) bi cles and wishes to express its <br />gratitude to the Circle -Lex VFW Post #6583 for its • •nati n. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Co nc <br />Marilyn G. <br />derson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Lyden and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: Dahl, Lyden, Sullivan. <br />The following voted against same: none, Council Members Bergeson and Neal were absent. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
