Council Member Dahl introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />`-- adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 95 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE CIRCLE -LEX LIONS <br />CLUB <br />WHEREAS, the City is a member of the National Youth Sports Coaches Association; <br />and; <br />WHEREAS, the City sends all of their youth recreational coaches to the certification <br />classes offered by this association; and <br />WHEREAS, the Circle -Lex Lions Club has supported the City's effort to certify all <br />youth coaches; and <br />WHEREAS, the Circle -Lex Lions Club has made a contribution of $1,000.00 to defer <br />some of the costs of this program, and <br />,.....- WHEREAS, the money will be appropriated to the General Fund in the following <br />manner: <br />Increase Revenue - Contributions <br />Increase Expenditures <br />National Youth Sports Coaches Assn. <br />$1,000.00 <br />$1,000.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes hereby accepts <br />the donation of $1,000.00 to cover one-half of the certification fee for this summers youth <br />sports coaches and wishes to express its gratitude to the Circle -Lex Lions Club for its <br />donation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Co <br />Marilyn G. Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Lyden and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: Dahl, Lyden, Sullivan. <br />
