Council Member Neal introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 121 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM FINAL STRETCH, INC. FOR <br />RESERVE EQUIPMENT <br />WHEREAS, raincoats, hats, flashlights, and glove/radio holders <br />has become needed equipment by the Reserve Officers due <br />to the ever increasing violence in our society, <br />WHEREAS, funding for this equipment was not included as a Police <br />Department budget item, <br />WHEREAS, Final Stretch, Inc. has made a donation in the amount <br />of $300.00 to the City of Lino Lakes for the cost of <br />this equipment, and <br />WHEREAS, the monies will be appropriated to the General Fund in <br />the following manner: <br />Increase Revenue - Contributions <br />Increase Expenditures -Uniforms <br />$300.00 <br />$300.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes <br />hereby accepts the donation of $300.00 for the cost of the <br />equipment and wishes to express its gratitude to Final Stretch, <br />Inc. for the donation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Co ci this 27 day of July, <br />1998. <br />`,71271_* Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />llivan, Mayor <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member Bergeson and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bergeson, Dahl, <br />Lyden, Neal, Sullivan. <br />The following voted against same: none. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
