Council Member Dahl introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 170 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE FRIENDS OF THE <br />PARKS FOUNDATION IN SUPPORT OF THE PERFORMANCES IN THE <br />PARKS SERIES <br />WHEREAS, each year the Friends of the Parks Foundation applies for a grant from <br />Target Industries, and <br />WHEREAS, a grant was awarded to the Friends of the Parks Foundation for $1,000.00, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Friends of the Parks Foundation has donated the grant funds to <br />the City of Lino Lakes, and <br />WHEREAS, the monies will be appropriated to the General Fund in the following <br />manner: <br />Increase Revenue - Contributions <br />Increase Expenditures - <br />Performances in the Parks <br />$1,000.00 <br />$1,000.00 <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes hereby accepts <br />the donation of $1,000.00 in support of the Performances in the Parks Series and wishes <br />to express its gratitude to the Friends of the Parks Foundation and Target Industries for <br />their donation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 14th <br />�� <br />Ma ilyn G. Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Neal and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Council Members Bergeson, Dahl, Lyden, Neal and Mayor Sullivan. <br />The following voted against the same: none. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
