WHEREAS, for calendar year 1999, a metropolitan area municipality that participated in <br />the Local Housing Incentive Account Program during the calendar year 1998, can <br />continue to participate under Minnesota Statutes section 473.25 if: (a) the municipality <br />elects to participate in the Local Housing Incentives Account Program; and (b) the <br />Metropolitan Council and the municipality have successfully negotiated affordable and <br />life -cycle housing goals for the municipality: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Lino Lakes hereby elects to <br />participate in the Local Housing Incentives Program under the Metropolitan Livable <br />Communities Act during the calendar year 1999. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Co ci this 21st day • ecember, 1998 <br />ATTEST: <br />Marilyn G. Anderson, Clerk/Treasurer <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Bergeson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: Bergeson, Neal, Sullivan. <br />The following voted against same: Council Member Dahl voted no, Council Member Lyden <br />was absent. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted. <br />
