\. Council Member Lyden introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99 - 119 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE LINO LAKES AREA CHAMBER OF <br />COMMERCE <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Department has a need to equip <br />the classroom in the new facility with audio equipment; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the dollars alloted to the technilogy budget did not <br />cover the expense to furnish this room with needed <br />equipment; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce was made aware <br />of the desire for the Lino Lakes Police Department to <br />equip their classroom with audio equipment and has <br />donated $1,000.00 to the City to purchase the needed <br />equipment, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes <br />hereby accepts the donation of $1,000.00 to equip the classroom <br />in the new facility and wishes to express its gratitude to the <br />Lino Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce for its donation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Counci <br />1999. <br />day of November, <br />Marilyn G. Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />u livan, Mayor <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member Dahl and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
