1.09 Personal Conduct: <br />A. Horseplay, fighting, gambling, explosives, possession of firearms, drinking <br />alcoholic beverages, use of regulated drugs, being under the influence of drugs or <br />alcohol, theft, vandalism, sabotage and distribution of unauthorized literature shall <br />be cause to bar those involved from the work site. <br />1.10 Safety Inspection and Housekeeping: <br />A. At a minimum, Contractor shall check the work area daily at the beginning and at <br />the end of each work shift to ensure safe working conditions are maintained and <br />all safety procedures are followed. <br />1.11 Material Storage and Disposal: <br />A. General: <br />1. Contractor shall be responsible for using safe methods of handling, storage <br />and disposal of materials. <br />2. Contractor's personnel shall observe Owner's safety rules and regulations. <br />B. Material Disposal: <br />1. Disposal of debris and waste materials shall comply with all applicable <br />ordinances, regulations and laws of local, city, county, state and national <br />government agencies. <br />2. The disposal method of debris, waste materials, and hazardous waste <br />materials shall be selected by Contractor and comply with applicable laws. <br />3. Contractor shall prevent the discharge of lubricating oils, cleaning solvents <br />and other materials onto the ground and/or into sewers. <br />1.12 Vertical and Horizontal Work Safety Access Control: <br />A. Ladders: <br />1. The use and erection of ladders shall comply with OSHA regulations. <br />B. Scaffolds, Lifts and Swing Stages: <br />1. The use and erection shall comply with OSHA regulations. <br />C. Safety Harnesses: <br />1. The use of safety harnesses shall comply with OSHA regulations and <br />safety harnesses shall be used on work sites as required. <br />D. Openings in Floors, Walls and Stairwells: <br />1.
