Section 01 45 16 <br />CONTRACTOR'S QUALITY CONTROL <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 Project Manual: <br />A. A copy of the Project Manual, Specifications and Detail Drawings (including all <br />addenda and change orders) is required to be available on the project site at all <br />times. <br />1.02 Material Quality: <br />A. Materials incorporated into project shall be new, except as otherwise indicated in <br />the contract documents, of specified quality, and furnished in sufficient quantity <br />to facilitate proper and speedy execution of the work. <br />B. Contractor shall furnish evidence of the quality of materials incorporated into <br />project as required by the contract documents or at the request of <br />Architect/Engineer. <br />C. Materials not meeting requirements of the contract documents shall be removed <br />from project and replaced with materials meeting contract document requirements <br />by Contractor with no additional expense to Owner. <br />1.03 Asbestos: <br />A. Refer to Section 01 11 00, Summary of Work, for hazardous materials identified <br />on the site. <br />B. The contract documents for this project have been prepared in accordance with <br />generally accepted professional Architectural and Engineering practices. <br />Accordingly, no asbestos or products containing asbestos have been knowingly <br />specified for this project. Notify the Architect/Engineer immediately for <br />instructions if - <br />1. Materials containing asbestos are brought to the site for inclusion in the <br />work. <br />2. Asbestos materials are encountered in any existing structures upon which <br />work is being performed. <br />C.
