Section 01 78 00 <br />PROJECT RECORD DOCUMENTS <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 Description: <br />A. Throughout the work of this contract, maintain an accurate record of the <br />following: <br />1. Contract Documents (Project Manual with Detail Drawings) <br />2. Addenda <br />3. Change Orders and Other Modifications to the Contract <br />4. Field Orders and Instructions <br />5. Construction Schedule <br />6. Product Samples <br />7. Shop Drawings <br />8. Progress Reports <br />1.02 Quality Assurance: <br />A. Delegate the responsibility for maintenance of record documents to one person on <br />the Contractor's staff as approved in advance by the Architect/Engineer. <br />B. Make all entries within 24 hours after receipt of information. <br />1.03 Submittals: <br />A. Prior to submitting each request for progress payment, secure the <br />Architect/Engineer's approval of the record documents as currently maintained. <br />B. Prior to submitting request for final payment, submit the final record documents <br />to the Architect/Engineer and secure his approval. <br />1.04 Product Handling: <br />A. Use all means necessary to maintain the job set of record documents completely <br />protected from deterioration and from loss and damage until completion of the <br />work and transfer of the recorded data to the final record documents. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 Record Documents at Pre -construction Meeting: <br />A.
