Section 07 92 00 <br />SEALANTS & CAULKING <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 Summary: <br />A. Includes but is not limited to <br />1. Quality of sealants to be used on project including submittal, material, and <br />installation requirements. <br />B. Related sections <br />1. Removing existing sealants and furnishing and installing of sealants is <br />specified in sections specifying work to be caulked. <br />1.02 Submittals: <br />A. Product Data <br />1. Manufacturer's literature and installation recommendations for each <br />product. <br />2. Schedule showing where each product is to be used. <br />B. Quality Assurance/Control <br />1. Furnish certificate from manufacturer indicating date of manufacture. <br />1.03 Delivery, Storage, & Handling: <br />A. Handle to prevent inclusion of foreign matter, damage by water, or breakage. <br />B. Deliver and keep in original containers until ready for use. <br />C. Do not use damaged or deteriorated materials. <br />D. Store in a cool place, but never under 400 F. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 Materials: <br />A. Sealants <br />1. Sealants provided shall meet manufacturer's shelf -life requirements. <br />2. Exterior sheet metal & miscellaneous <br />a. Penetrations and joints in soffits and fascia <br />b.
