CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 16-02 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CLASSIFICATION OF TAX FORFEIT PROPERTY <br />WHEREAS, the Anoka County Board of Commissioners has prepared a list, designated as <br />Classification List Number 2007 which describes land forfeited to the State of Minnesota pursuant to <br />Chapter 282 of the Minnesota Statutes, and has determined that it is advisable to sell said land; and, <br />WHEREAS, four properties within Lino Lakes, attached hereto as Exhibit A, are included in the <br />Classification List; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Anoka County Land Commissioner has requested the Lino Lakes City Council <br />approve classification of the parcels. <br />WHEREAS, three properties are part of the City's street and public stormwater management system <br />intended for public use. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes that the <br />classification of parcels are hereby approved and that the City respectfully requests the County Board to <br />withhold said properties from sale. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, City staff is hereby authorized and directed to notify the Anoka <br />County Land Commissioner that the City of Lino Lakes would like to obtain title to the properties, for <br />public purposes, listed as: <br />Parcel No. 19-31-22-43-0007 <br />Parcel No. 19-31-22-43-0008 <br />Parcel No. 19-31-22-43-0009 <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 25th day of January, 2016. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />and was duly seconded by Council Member and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />
