The Owner and Contractor agree as follows. It is agreed and understood that the Owner has contracted with the Contractor for the provision of exterior restoration/roofing construction services as provided in this Agreement. It is agreed and understood that the Owner does not represent that it is knowledgeable in exterior restoration/roofing work or other professional disciplines involving construction, and that the Owner is relying upon the Contractor to at all times perform its services with the professional skill and care consistent with that generally required by contractors in the construction industry and to comply with the requirements of this Agreement, and all applicable laws, codes, ordinances, rules, regulations and construction industry standards. The Owner and Contractor agree to cooperate with one another and to maintain a good working relationship during the Project. ADDITIONS AND DELETIONS: The author of this document has added information needed for its completion. The author may also have revised the text of the original AIA standard form. An Additions and Deletions Report that notes added information as well as revisions to the standard form text is available from the author and should be reviewed.
