CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15-75 <br />LOCAL APPROVAL OF A LAWFUL GAMBLING PREMISES PERMIT <br />FOR THE AMERICAN LEGION <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes City Council has received a request from the American Legion for <br />a lawful gambling premises permit to conduct gambling (pull tabs, tip board, paddlewheel, <br />electronic pull -tabs and occasional bingo) at American Legion Post 566; and <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Gambling Control Board requires the City of Lino Lakes to submit <br />a resolution to the City Council approving the premises permit application; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has conducted the required background investigation; and <br />WHEREAS, the American Legion Post 566 is in compliance with Chapter 611 of the Lino <br />Lakes City Code relating to Lawful Gambling; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes <br />hereby approves the request of the American Legion Post 566 for a Premise Permit for <br />Charitable Gambling at the American legion Post 566. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 27nd day of July, 2015. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Rafferty and was duly seconded by Council Member S t ops, and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Rafferty, Stoesz Roeser, Kusterman, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />u i. e Bartell, City <br />i <br />lerk <br />
